Welcome to DO MP3
I launched domp3.co.uk on Wednesday 7th March 2007, we have 4
months to make this happen!Here's the plan... You and I
(and now Pete) are going get one of our (yet
undecided) all-time favourite songs back in The UK
Official Singles Chart on Sunday the 15th July 2007, and we're going to see how high we
can get it.
Thankfully we're not going to do it on our own.
You and I are going to encourage 10,000's of other people in the
UK to buy the specific MP3 from their favourite MP3 service on
Saturday 7th July
2007 (Do MP3 Day)*.

How much is it going to cost?
No more than 79p, but it could be less depending on which MP3
service you use to by the MP3.
Our To-Do List
The ball is rolling, but there's still stuff to do between now and then,
It's all optional, but any help you give is greatly appreciated and we should have some fun along
the way.
1. Suggest The Song.
I'm taking suggestions for which song we are going to get
back in to the Official UK Singles Chart.

2. Tell JUST One Mate what we're up to.
Use our clever
tell-a-mate form to send an email to a friend. It
automatically gives them the low-down on what we're up to and
you can add your own message to it. I don't store or even see
your mates email address.
3. Tell 10,000's of people about DO MP3 Day.
Easy. If you have a site, blog or myspace page etc, you can help
by putting one of the swanky DO MP3 banners button or text link
on it.
Do this and I'll make sure your
site/page is featured in the I'm In! section of the
domp3.co.uk site.
4. Create more Swanky Banners and Buttons for People to
use.
Feeling creative? Send me your DO MP3 Day banners and buttons and
I'll make them available for other people to use.
5. Tell another 10,000 people about DO MP3 Day.
Ahh, yeah, this one is most important. So when we're stuck
for something to do, it's always 'back to item #1' :)
*Actually, all purchases from Thursday 5th July to Wednesday 11th of July will
count towards The Official UK Singles Chart. It's just that 07/07/07 looks
really cool on all our banners and buttons :)
